On the walls of Angkor Wat are bas-reliefs that vividly portray scenes from everyday life, ceremonial practices, and agricultural activities. The intricate carvings and craftsmanship are what makes Angkor Wat an architectural wonder with significance to the cultural history of Cambodians.
