This short biography is based on an oral history interview with Lillian Robles. Her ancestors lived at Panhe, a Native American settlement near San Juan Capistrano before the Spanish came to southern California. She became an activist to help save the Puvungna burial ground in Long Beach from destruction. This illustrated book is written for children and was published with the Long Beach Unified School District.
