The Friendly Club float in the 1st Cambodian New Year Parade on Anaheim Street, Long Beach, CA., April 24, 2005. Businessman Tommy Nou founded the club to foster trust and friendship among Cambodian business owners. The float featured a Pin Peat musical ensemble led by Master Sambath Pich. The Khmer written on the banner on the float says: Sua Sdey Chnam Tmey (Happy New Year).
