Comedy drama and history of the long beach playhouse

Learn about the many characters - real and fictional - who have played roles in the 85 years of the Long Beach Playhouse. Exhibition includes costumes, playbills, photos, news clips, insights from oral histories and props from some of your favorite plays. Friday, January 23: Preview exhibit and reception Friday, no charge 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, May 3: Readers’ Theater Presentation of “History & Mystery: Stories from the Long Beach Playhouse”—2:00-4:00 pm Admission: $20 general public, $15 members of HSLB or Playhouse Please call to reserve seats Other public programs to be announced—look for announcements in e-blasts and on HSLB and Playhouse websites: www.hslb.org and www.lbplayhouse.org
